Project: Nephilim

Project: Nephilim was an unauthorized series of experiments shut down by Garlean Forces. It was helmed by the now M.I.A. Aurelius Lux Delphi. The project was carried on alongside the Diablos Armament experimentation in the siege on Ilsabard.
One hundred prisoners of war and criminals to Garlemald were selected for experimentation, ten of which survived.

The prisoners were subjected to inhumane torture after being injected with the blood of monstrosities, such as voidsent or other such aberrations. Each subject had not only their body but their mind tested under immense pressure to test if they had the strength to house the will of a greater entity. While the process is far more risky than hypertuning, the successful variants result in powerful soldiers with a far more subtle appearance.

The failed experiments' corpses (still yet remaining) were barely recognizable. However the successful ones had minimal deformations - minor and subtle mutations.Just as Delphi had planned; soldiers that could infiltrate enemy lines and take on an army by themselves.

Successful Experiments

Experiment No. 9 - Raiko Ly - has escaped containment and rampaged across Bozja, bringing attention to the experiment and the closure of it. Many of the other experiments have fallen in line, but others have gone missing after following her example. They must be detained at all costs, for they are a danger to what remains of Garlemald.Glory Be.
